Human VS Machine

Last week in San Diego, I had the pleasure of leading an Open Space Workshop at FutuRE: The Real Estate Conference by AppFolio.

More than 120 property management professionals joined the workshop to contemplate the question: “As we automate more of our lives, where is human touch and team collaboration more important than ever?”

AI and automation are changing work but that doesn’t mean it’s all or nothing. Sometimes doing things by hand is the point. A handwritten note vs an AI generated email. Reading a book not just the summary.

With 8 self-selected topics, this group of people shared challenges, personal experiences, and, even created from some new professional connections. All in 45 minutes!

Thank you to everyone who joined the session and made it a success!

What other conferences would you like to see an Open Space Workshop at?
